About Us
Gainsborough Studios is the latest development by Lincoln Holdings PLC, a company with a long history of successfully converting old and unusual buildings for residential use. They are responsible for ten church conversions in London alone, as well as the redevelopment of large scale industrial spaces. Their individual approach includes new buildings beside the old ones, working with well-respected architects, and commissioning original works of art for the public spaces. They are currently receiving rave reviews for there restoration of Sir Deny's lasdens modernist master piece of the Grade II listed Keeling House.

Apartments at Gainsborough Studios let you choose your own blueprint. Interiors have all been designed to provide open plan and flexible living spaces. Move this. Change that. Sit still. Relax. Contemporary detailing creates maximum space. Room to breathe - indoors and out. Modern technology can now pack large functions into small spaces, allowing you to set up office at home, without disrupting your personal space. Home is office. Cut out the daily commute.

The History
Landmark architecture by Munkenbeck+ Marshall four separate buildings situated around a central courtyard and sculpture garden, with a canal side walk way, bridges and a café restaurant. The original Gainsborough red brick building, maintained and revived as a modern film studio, will form a dynamic, working core of the development.

Brad Pitt was on set here for a new film from the director of Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. Ralph Fiennes recites Shakespeare in the once derelict studios. Super models strut their stuff, whilst The Chemical Brothers, Fatboy Slim and Bjork play to the audience - Gainsborough Studios is now the cutting edge venue for British Fashion week, and has also hosted music industry awards ceremonies.

Draw a line between the creative hub and media centre of Old Street, and the lively restaurants and bars of Islington, and slap bang in the middle of it all is Gainsborough Studios. On one side of you, Hoxton Square and the birthplace of Brit Art, on the other, the shiny glass edifices of the City of London. Gainsborough Studios is within easy walking distance of the restaurant meccas and hip hang outs of both Islington and Clerkenwell. The clubs and bars of Shoreditch and Hoxton are even closer to its doorstep.
